Where It Started

A life’s work needed a home.

Carol Tuttle had spent decades helping people heal, through one-on-one sessions, books, CDs, MP3s, online courses, and a library of video content across her blog and social platforms. As her audience grew, she wanted to create a single, cohesive online space where she could send someone who was ready for deep inner emotional work.

She didn't want to simply aggregate what already existed. She wanted to build something worthy of the work itself: a platform where someone could arrive overwhelmed, find exactly where to start, and follow a clear path toward healing across multiple areas of their life.

The challenge wasn't just technical. It was experiential. How do you gather hundreds of pieces of content—individual video sessions, multi-week healing plans, and full online courses—and organize them so that a member always knows where they are, what's available, and what to do next? And most importantly, how do you make that experience feel so elevated that clients will gratefully pay $69 a month?

What I Created

A world built for healing. Designed with people in mind.

Most membership platforms feel like a content dump. You log in, face a wall of options, and leave without doing anything. The Healing Center was designed to solve that problem from the inside out—starting with the physical studio where every video was filmed, ending with the interface a member navigates on their own healing journey.

My role covered the entire experience: set design and lighting for full-day video shoots, brand identity and visual system for the platform, sales pages and emails designed to bring the right person through the door, and UX design for every page a person would encounter after becoming a member.

Every piece was designed to answer the same question a business owner should always be asking… Is this experience good enough to keep someone paying month after month? The sections that follow walk through a bit of that experience.

The Impact it Made

Seven years—still running, still helping, still generating revenue.

Building a membership platform from scratch is one thing. Building one that still drives retention and consistent revenue seven years in is another.

The Carol Tuttle Healing Center has brought thousands of members through its doors since launch, generating reliable recurring revenue month after month without a significant redesign. The design worked at launch and it created a foundation strong enough to grow on.
