Where It Started
This product was worth every penny. It needed to feel like it.
The hardest design problem isn't making something beautiful. It's making something feel worth it.
Dressing Your Truth’s makeover program offered something genuinely valuable: a complete color and pattern system, built from years of research, that helped women understand exactly what to wear and why. Women would experience this program through immersive video content. Then something would arrive in the mail: color palette cards. That moment of unboxing, the first physical touch of the brand, needed to match the emotional weight of everything she’d been learning online.
The knowledge on the cards would be transformative. But knowledge printed on cardstock has a perception problem. Held in the hand, cards can just feel like cards, no matter what's printed on them. My job was to close the gap so that the physical product felt as substantial as the knowledge it contained.


What I Created
Every card earned its place.
I designed twelve cards to convey the transformative information taught in the Dressing Your Truth course. Each one had a specific job, and together they formed a complete system: full-size color guides, pattern cards showing actual fabric patterns rather than illustrations, and mini wallet cards with the same color palette condensed small enough to carry while shopping.
I then designed a custom tri-fold container that opens like a book and holds every component in its own sleeve. The moment of opening turned into something worth slowing down for, making the product feel valuable enough to justify the price point that was charged for it.
